[Opinions] Twin names
i'm due in August and i'm having twins, a boy and girl!
this is, of course, a very exciting time for me, but recently my husband and i are in a panic because we don't have any name suggestions for our son.
For our daughter i though Eva would be fitting.
i don't know what i could name my son. any suggestions?
nothing flashy or out there and it doesn't necessarily have to rhyme with EVA or start with E.
i would love to hear some good ideas!
thanks

How are you going to pronounce Eva? I've always said Eve-ah, but recently people have said Ave-ah. Which one are you going to use?I like Eva and Evan, but that is waaay too matchy. How about Eva and Noah?

I'll be pronouncing it Eve-ah. Noah and Eva sounds a bit rhym-ish. and at one point i did consider Evan but ultimately chose against it.
thanks

I would definitely stay away from rhyming names and preferably also names that start with E. I don't know why people think twin names have to be matchy like that. Being a twin is enough of matching in my opinion. :)

I had some ideas and so did my husband but we just disagreed on most accounts. My husband loves the idea of Sebastian and lots have suggested Oscar (which i'm warming to).
i also liked Solomon, one of your suggestions.
its funny, because for my daughter, the name Eva was stewing in my head and my husband thought it was endearing but for our son...
its a different story.
the suggestions though has helped me construct a list.
thanks for your help and well wishes!
