Wow, I don't see any of those things. I love it. I'm surprised that I'm the only one that seems to not think it's horrible.
It's an old family name for me (my great(X5)-grandmother had a stillborn baby that was named Taryn, and also the name of a great character in a book I have that was wrote in the 1930's, so it feels very traditional, substantial, and literary, very classic to me. It feels extremely smart and sweet to me.
(I always feel weird answering posts about how much I love a name right after the OP bashes it to pieces, like I'm wrong to feel that way)
