Twist: Ryan and I were thrilled to find out that we were pregnant again so quickly. While the rest of the family thought it was a bit fast, we always wanted to have a large family quickly. Lily has been fussy since she isn't getting all the attention, but she loves the idea of being a big sister. Now that I'm not working, I have a lot more time to help her get used to the idea of another baby in the house. With two little ones at home, it seemed easier to stay home than pay someone to take care of them. I was thrilled to have Joanna join the family, and while I would like boys in the future, its nice to have the girls so close in age. Everyone has been very helpful since we got home, and Lily is convinced she has to help with everything, including singing the baby to sleep. She loves sharing her room and can't wait until Joie is older so they can play together. Joie does seem more fussy than Lily was, but Lily seems to be the Joie-whisperer, so she calms down anytime her big sister is around. Days are busy and it is a relief when Daddy gets home, but I love having lots of time with my girls!
