When your oldest was only 7 months old you found out you were pregnant. How did you feel?
I was a bit upset. Then happy. I mean Sarah is just a baby. The conversation was like this (Tony just came home from work).
Tony: Hi hon--
Me: I'm pregnant
How did your husband feel?
He was suprised and happy
What did the family think?
they were shocked, because we had wanted to wait at least 2 years
During your pregnancy your oldest senses something is wrong. They become more fussy. How do you handle this?
I told her that everything would be fine. We spent more time with her
You also decide to quit your job (if you haven’t already). Why?
I already did. I don't want some daycare worker practically raising my kid
How do you think your kids are going to get along?
We were worried that Sarah, would miss not being the center of attention
When the baby comes it is the same gender as your oldest. Were you happy or disappointed?
Kinda happy. I love little girls
Did the family try to help you (when you came home)?
Yes, they cooked food and my mil stayed with us for a month
Does your oldest like the baby?
Suprisingly she loves her. Only problem is that Sarah doesn't understand that the baby is not a doll
Also they end up sharing a room. Does this make your oldest mad?
No, She loves the baby and often climbs in the crib (problem for us b/c we're afraid she's going to hurt her)
Also if your first baby was fussy this one is calm/if the first was calm this one is fussy. Is that surprising?
Leah is very calm. I was expecting a very fussy baby (like Sarah)
Your oldest does something unexpected to/with the baby. What does he/she do?
She climbs in her crib everynight and says "I wuv you baby"
Now that you’re a SAHM what is your schedule like?
Hectic and Random. They need to get on a schedule
