1. What were/are the names of your real life pets? Jill, Tweety, Sugar, Cicie, Shadow, Ginger Belle, Rocco Piranha
2. What are your favorite names? Boys: Calvin, Nolan, Jace, Jett, Trystan, Nicolas, Kellen, Calen, Roman, Vince, Desi, Casey, Dylan Girls: Liliana, Arianna, Maia, Bella, Bridget, Gretchen, Liesel, Adriana, Jade, Lucienne, Jasmine
Twist: When your oldest was only 7 months old you found out you were pregnant. How did you feel? How did your husband feel? What did the family think? I was a little shocked. I think everyone was. I didn't want to have the second one this soon but I think my husband was thrilled. That helped me to except the fact that I had to prepare for this one. And the family was supportive.
During your pregnancy your oldest senses something is wrong. They become more fussy. How do you handle this? G noticed my tummy but he wasn't fussing more or anything. I would have G talk to my tummy so I think he was excited to have a brother.
You also decide to quit your job (if you haven’t already). Why? Since I'm a self-employed photographer I make my own hours. It helps with two little ones. For right now I've limited the amount of projects I'm doing. Once Cody hits about 5 months I'll be taking on more projects again. My mother helps out by watching the boys.
How do you think your kids are going to get along? When the baby comes it is the same gender as your oldest. Were you happy or disappointed? I think it was good Cody was a boy like Gavin. He has a little brother to play with. I think the will get along great. They have so far.
Did the family try to help you (when you came home)? My mother and mother-in-law help with babysitting so I can get stuff done.
Does your oldest like the baby? Also they end up sharing a room. Does this make your oldest mad? I think Gavin is to young to get mad about that. Right now Cody gets up in the middle of the night for feeding so when that stops then they will share a room.
Also if your first baby was fussy this one is calm/if the first was calm this one is fussy. Is that surprising? Cody does get up more than Gavin did but hes really not that fussy. He usually sticks to a routine so I know when he's about to cry.
Your oldest does something unexpected to/with the baby. What does he/she do? Now that you’re a SAHM what is your schedule like? G likes to steal Cody's pacifiers. Don't know why, I guess he misses being the little one. When they get up i feed them breakfast, then play with them till lunch. Feed them lunch, then its nap time, meanwhile i do house work chores. Then they go to one of the Grandma's while I shop for dinner. Coy picks them up after work and we have dinner. Then its Coy's turn to entertain them while mommy cleans up. Then its bedtime.
