[Games] Re: Squint's Royal Congrats -- Round 3
in reply to a message by Squint
King: Maximilian Tiberius Ivan Lothair IV (27)
--Queen: Katerina Rosamund Beatrix (deceased)
----Princess: Augusta Madeleine Kalina (8)
----Crown Prince: Cassius Arthur Erasmus IIX (5)
----Princess: Yseult Gwyneth Cressida (3)
--Queen: Kalliope Antoinette Gisella (22)
----Prince: Aloysius Caspian Rhys (nb)
Royal House: Isley
Kingdom: Belhollow
Following Cassius’s birth, Maximilian and Katerina were forced to come to terms with the unlikelihood of them having more than two children—but just two years after Cassius, Katerina became pregnant for a third time. It was a miracle. They knew the birth would be risky, however, and the kingdom’s fears were realized when Queen Katerina died only hours after delivering another little girl, Yseult.
Maximilian’s advisors insisted he remarry. It would be good for diplomacy, they argued. And the children need a mother. So, not long after the end of the traditional period of mourning, Belhollow celebrated Maximilian’s marriage to Princess Kalliope Antoinette Gisella of Pryvale.
But the late Queen was beloved by the country—a foreign princess, from a country that Belhollow had been at war with not fifty years ago, would never measure up. And so Kalliope was looked upon with contempt. King Maximilian focused on ruling his country, and so Kalliope was often ignored. Right now, she’s simply sending a lot of time caring for her own newborn son, Aloysius, and the three young children Katerina left behind.
