[Opinions] Leander
What do you think of Leander. I've never heard of it on a real person... but i like it on paper.
Would you pronounce it LEE-ander, lee-AN-der, or LEEN-der? Or some other way?

Reminds me of Oleander... also seems kind of Shakespearean-- probably because of Lysander in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". I like Lysander...
I would pronounce it LEE-ander. I don't like it. It makes me think of salamanders and hillbillys.
When I first read it I imagined it LEE-ander.. but I don't think I could imagine it on a real person...

We'll ride through the city tonight
See the city's ripped insides
We'll see the bright and hollow sky
We'll see the stars that shine so bright
The sky was made for us tonight

I absolutely love the name Leander and it's on my personal name list. Over here the name isn't very common but anyway I know a few boys called like this.
In German the pronounciation is different than in English: le-UN-der
In English I pronounce it lee-AN-der but I prefer the German pronounciation.
