[Opinions] Leander
What do you think of Leander. I've never heard of it on a real person... but i like it on paper.Would you pronounce it LEE-ander, lee-AN-der, or LEEN-der? Or some other way?

Reminds me of Oleander... also seems kind of Shakespearean-- probably because of Lysander in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". I like Lysander...

I would pronounce it LEE-ander. I don't like it. It makes me think of salamanders and hillbillys.

When I first read it I imagined it LEE-ander.. but I don't think I could imagine it on a real person... "Never make someone a priority, who only makes you an option."

I absolutely love the name Leander and it's on my personal name list. Over here the name isn't very common but anyway I know a few boys called like this.
In German the pronounciation is different than in English: le-UN-der
In English I pronounce it lee-AN-der but I prefer the German pronounciation.
