The etymology of the name is given as sneg (snow) and žena (woman). THIS IS FALSE. The name is an adjectival form of the word "sneg" and there is a male version of the name, Snežan, which supports my claim. If it was sn(j)eg (snow) + žena (woman) it would be Sn(j)ežEna not Sn(j)ežAna.
The name
Snjezana* is also Serbian, Slovenian, Russian etc so under the name
Snjezana it cannot be stated "from croatian..." but "from slavic...". The name in Serbian is both Snežana and Snježana.
*The name
Snjezana is misspelled. It should be SnjeŽana, not
SnjeZana.
Can somebody fix this please?
Thanks
