I love it, and only on a boy. I'd actually forgotten about it (my favorite Russian name for a while now has been Vadim), but I like it more and more each time I say it in my head. I don't think Nikita Yuri is a great combo, though I do like Yuri (lol, I also knew a really obnoxious little Yuri). I'd actually look for a non-Russian name to go with it, but I've never been able to come up with any satisfactory to go with Nikita.
