Love love LOVE it! it's has such a lovely old fashioned ring to it that it just seems chic on a little girl. I know of a little sic-year old Dorothy who is the cutest thing. She has curly hair and sometimes wears it in two pigtails. Her name works on her! Right now, I'm loving the combo Dorothy Wallis.

I like it I know two Dorothys.

I think it could certainly work, especially if paired with a spunky middle name (Dorothy Petunia came to mind- something fun & light). I prefer Dorothea, however, because I like the nickname Thea but not the nickname Dottie.

Yes. My roommate has a cousing named Dorothy who is 28, and I recently met a 13 year old Dorothy. I wouldn't say it's getting popular just yet, but it's coming back. I quite like it.
