What do you think of Cary for a boy? I think it's rather handsome and makes me think of Cary Grant. Do you think it's too feminine?

At the moment I like Richard Cary, Thomas Cary and Cary Thomas. What do you think?

Richard Cassius (KAS-see-us) or Richard Cary?

Would you spell it Cary or Carey? Do you pronounce it the same as Carrie?

Love it! It's a great boy's name, I think super handsome and cute. Iprefer Richard Cassius though. I love Cary Thomas! I pronounce it like Carrie.

I like Cary. I think it's handsome. Richard Cary and Thomas Cary are both nice. I like Richard Cary much better than Richard Cassius.

I'd spell it Cary. Carey is too surnamey, as in Drew Carey. I pronounce Cary and Carrie the same.

I love it! It makes me think of Cary Elwes. I actually know a Cary in his 40s and he likes his name. I like Cary Thomas best, but the are all very nice.

I say Car-ee for Cary but Care-ee for Carey. Probably because of the surname Carey which is said like that. I say Car-ree for Carrie too - but Ker-ee for Kerry.

Cary is o.k. - in spite of Cary Grant I do see it as a bit feminine. Thomas Cary is the best. I prefer Richard Cassius but then I am biased - my cat is Cassius.

I think it would be fine as a mn, but Carrie/Kerry/et al have been used too much for girls. A male Cary would definitely be teased. Either spelling is fine, and I do pronounce Carrie and Cary the same.
