I like Dorothy Alice. Ann is too fillerish for me.

When I was in 6th grade, my bff was named Dorothy Marie. I remember thinking she had the best name in the world (not realizing that her name was considered old fashioned). I never could figure out why her family called her Dottie. It just didn't make sense then.

Now I strongly prefer Dorothea which sounds more exotic, more ethereal, more magical than just everyday Dorothy.

I like Dorothy Alice better than Dorothy Ann because it's not as predictable.

It's a little too "Wizard of Oz," for my liking. But Dorothy Alice, is nice though.

I love Dorothy! Dorothy Violet's my combination of choice.

I really like Dorothy, especially with the nn Dot or Dottie. Both of your combos are nice, but I like Dorothy Alice better.
