Sorry, but I really don't like it. Some people here go on about it, and it's one of those names I'll never understand the appeal of. It sounds like a whiny nerdy obnoxious mean little guy, despite being the name of one of the Knights of the Round Table.
Have you ever read / listened to any P.G. Wodehouse? His comic characters all have names like Percival.
I don't know about other posters, but that's where my love of old English names like Percival comes from. Others: Bertram (Bertie), Eustace, Oswald, Honoria, Gladys, etc. They brighten my day just thinking about them -- their characters are so funny.
I realize most of these names are not user-friendly in the U.S. (where I am.) But for sheer love of hypothetical names, Wodehouse is a garden of delights.

I haven't
I do like some Old English names. I think some Anglo-Saxon names are really cool. Percival just isn't one of them.
I do "like" some names based solely off the type of character they conjur up in my mind too. Like Barnaby. I think Tippins said it best once when she said it was "top-hat wearing." :)

I like it in theory, but in reality he may get teased a bit. I like ICEyun's suggestion of Percival Henry.
