It's Wiley, and It's male. An annoying kid in my neighborhood bears this name.

My dads best friends son is named Wiley.

I believe it is spelled Wiley. It's really more of a surname here in the U.S., but if you like it for a first name, I'd say it's strictly male. I can't picture a female Wiley.
