My aunt has always been Jo, and her daughter is Dani Jo, so I'm fine with both. There's an Alexia in 6th grade that now suddenly wants to be called Alex. Her mom, another teacher there, was a bit heartbroken by that, because that's her little girl. Playing football with her twin brother and their friends, so what, but her dd is Alexia or Lexie to her. I have no problem personally.
