Matilda has been a favorite of mine for ages, but I'm worried about it becoming popular. Do you know many people/children with this name? Do you prefer the Matilda spelling over Mathilda? What's the best nickname?

For combos, I was thinking:
Matilda Pearl
Matilda Frances
Matilda Clare
Matilda Sophronia
Matilda Winifred

Any other ideas?
