[Facts] Satu!
Hej Satu!
I found three Finnish names at a rather bad baby name page (BabyNamesWorld.com). At least they are said to be Finnish, but are they really?
Aila - light-bearer
I know this means "halo around the moon" in Turkish, but Turkish is, as you know, not related to Finnish
Mika - new moon
Isn't it a nn for Mikael?
Preita - most loving one
I've never even heard this name! Isn't love something like "rakasta"?
One more thing: I know you're an expert at European languages - do you have a clue about the origin of the name Kahlo, as in Frida Kahlo (my idol, heh, heh). It may be German, Hungarian or Yiddish.

Hej Caprice,
Yes, Mika in Finnish is short for Mikael. New moon in Finnish is 'uusikuu' and that's not used as a first name.
Preita is not a Finnish name at all. (Love in Finnish is 'rakkaus' - not a name either). Preita seems to be a variant of the Indian name Preet which means 'love'.
I don't know anything about the name Kahlo, I'm sorry. There's a Finnish word 'kahle' which means fetter / chain. Or it might be related to the German word (and surname) 'kahl' which means bald.
No - that were just wild guesses, I really have no idea! ;)

Tack!
Jag trodde väl att Preita inte var något finskt namn...

Fast det låter ju nästan som en finsk Britta-ombildning! ;D
