I love it :o). If I have a third daughter she'll probably have it as a mn. I prefer it pronounced ma-də-LEN. You're right about the popularity factor, I'd rather it wasn't so popular but I like it so much I don't really care. And I only like the Madeleine spelling. I can deal with Madaleine, but Madelyn makes my hair stand.Lea
