I wouldn't pn Aine the same as Anya. Probably because I wouldn't be sure how to pn Aine.
I knew an Anya in high school, about six years ago (she's in her mid 20s now). She was really nice, sweet, smart, a friend to everyone - a good connection for me.
It's a full name to me, and can stand on it's own (because that's the only way I've heard it.
