This is a name of a Transneptunian Object (a plutoid). I think it's quite a lovely name. I think they were originally calling it Xena, but changed it to much softer Eris.
Beautiful meaning also: "Eris is named after the goddess Eris (Greek Έρις), a personification of strife and discord." Perfect for some peoples' style, albeit it a bit dark. I do like it more than Iris, which I also like.
