[Opinions] Re: Tamar

I love Tamar. It's exotic, elegant, but not fussy. Very alluring.
But I can't stand Tamara, though, at least the American "TAM-uh-ruh" pronunciation. So Tamar Adina discomforts me a little. True, I odn't say exactly "TAM-uh-ruh" when I say "Tamar A-," but it's inching in that direction. I think you have better combinations.
Tamar Lilith is lovely. The two names are both exotic. The flow is a little choppy. But as you say it's not easy to find a mn for Tamar so I'm willing to overlook that minor point.
Tamar Lenka is interesting. I'll bet this is one of those combos that grow on you slowly until you find yourself head over heels.
Tamar Viola doesn't do much for me. I prefer the British, "VIE-uh-luh" pronunciation so I don't think we're saying it the same way. If you're using the "vee-O-luh" one, then the prominent "o" sound turns me off. But it's much better than American, "vie-O-luh," I'll give you that.
Minerva Tamar is stunning. Love it.
My attempts (sorry for any repeats):
Tamar Inez
Tamar Isabeau
Tamar Soledad
Tamar Lourdes (2 syllables)
Tamar Montserrat
Tamar Olivia
Tamar Roxane / Roxelana
Tamar Lucine
Tamar Scheherazade
Tamar Danielle
Tamar Natalia
Tamar Zenobia / Zenovia
Tamar Seraphine
Tamar Persis
Tamar Salomea
Tamar Hestia
Tamar Dionysia ("die-uh-NIE-see-uh" or "dee-uh-NEE-see-uh")
Tamar Hadassah
Tamar Pascale
Tamar Gabrielle / Gabriella
Tamar Serena
Tamar Valeria
Tamar Shoshana
Tamar Edurne
Tamar Justine
Tamar Isidora
Tamar Dulcinea (this has my favorite flow)
Tamar Emmanuelle
Tamar Ivria (= from the Euphrates River)
Tamar Eliane
Tamar Victorine
Tamar Casimira
Tamar Valentina
Tamar Zuleika
Tamar Rahel
Tamar Siofra / Shifra
Tamar Andraste
Tamar Isolde / Eseld
Tamar Lilias
Tamar Ishbel
Reading over this list I see I repeated the same flow as Tamar Lilith and the dangerous "Tamar A-" sound. But that's OK because they are *my* combinations. :-D
