I like it but I don't love it. I think it's a good name but it's unlikely I would ever use it. If I heard someone had named their child this I'd think they were pretty cool. I'm also a little fond of Wilhelmine.

No, not in English speaking countries anyway. I think it could be pretty popular in European countries if it's not already. I would imagine that most people would consider this name very old-fashioned. My prediction is that the name will have some use in the future but not enough for it to be considered popular.

I wouldn't use any nicknames (I'm not a fan of nicknames). I guess the most likely nn for this name would be Mina, Minnie, Willa, Willie, and maybe Wilma?
