Help[Facts] English names
Hi,
I have a school project for Monday about the actual English names and I would like to know which of the names that are used in English are actually English. I mean from only Anglo-Saxon and Jutes origin.
I know that English is a 'patchwork' of languages rather than a 'pure' language, including words from German, Celtic, Latin, Greek, French etc., but what I would like is to know the original Anglo-Saxon, Jutes names used in English but not the other names borrowed or derived from other Germanic origins, or other languages such as Greek, Latin, Hebrew etc.
