I like it, but husband shot it down right away. He says it sounds like a stripper name whatever that means. He says that about a lot of names.

I love it, though I'm conflicted with the spelling at the moment. Lela is more appealing to me aesthetically, but the reason I like the name is the song- Eric Clapton's "Layla."

I prefer Laila.

I love Layla spelled with a Y and it is one of my favorite Arabic names. For some reason though I strongly dislike it spelled Laila, it makes me think of an overweight chain smoking woman. But Layla is lovely :)

Nice. Not one that I myself would use but still a nice name. Makes me think of a nature-loving, calm girl with dark hair and green eyes.
