I too had trouble finding the meaning of our name, until one day I found a guy on line who kept writing e-mails to me in Parsi (thanks to the wonderful yahoo messanger)... I had no idea what he was saying so I clarified the misunderstanding and told him I was Spanish, so he went on and and told me where our name comes from, it comes from Persia and he also told me that many ancient Persian queens were named Soraya, not only that during my research I came across a website that said that Soraya is also a constallation (i wish i still had that source)... I'm still doing more research on that, because I would like to find this so called constellation. It took me almost a year to find all this out but I hope this gives you a start.
