So today is little Zahara Jolie-Pitt's birthday (Happy birthday :P) and it made me think about the name. I thought Angelina used it as a variant of the name of the desert (Sahara) but it is actually a separate name. I think it's meaning has something to do with flowers, but I'm not sure.

So what do you think of Zahara or even Sahara? Would you use it? Is it too tied to the celeb baby? do you prefer Zahara or Sahara?

Do you think it'll get more common like Shiloh? Do you already know someone with the name Sahara or Zahara?

I love the name Zahara, and would happily use it, as well as Maddox, Shiloh, and even Jolie (as a mn). I wouldn't use ALL of them though, that WOULD be too tied in - my first choice is Maddox.

I don't like Sahara though, it's just too similar to Sarah to me.

I don't like Zahara / Sahara or Shiloh. I suppose they're not bad names, but my dislike for Angelina Jolie is so great that I don't like the names. And yes I feel they are too tied to the celebrity world to use.

I think Zahara and Sahara are cute and so is Shiloh. I like Sahara better.
