Sadly our son Leo died when he was only 8 months old from scarlet fever. Henry and Sophia also became ill but recovered. In 1917 Eva gave birth to a little boy who lived only three days. We named him Gabriel Malachi --Gabriel after Eva's father and Malachi because it means "my angel". After the loss of two babies, Eva and Samuel can't bear the thought of losing any more and are done having children.

Grace got married to Isaac, and recently she welcomed a beautiful son named Benjamin Robert. James and Eleanor both got married as well.
