Alexandra Taylor is a 9-year-old girl from Boston, Massachusetts. She has red hair and green eyes. She was taken away from her parents when it was found that they were abusing her. Alexandra likes writing and watching TV.
Dylan Anthony is a 16-year-old boy from Newark, New Jersey. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His parents kicked him out of the house for behavioral problems. Dylan is very temperamental and can be a jerk, but he is a good person at heart. He likes video games and rock music.
Ziya Mehmet is a 14-year-old boy from Bursa, Turkey. He has blond hair and light brown eyes. His father was killed fighting rebels in Kurdistan, and his mother died of cancer. Ziya once shattered his leg and he has to walk with crutches. He's also very shy. He likes drawing, reading, and lying out in the sun. Ziya practices Islam, and would like to observe it.
Jolan Teodora is a 13-year-old girl from Budapest, Hungary. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was given up for adoption by her single mother, who was too poor to support her. Her mother would like to contact her and occasionally visit her. Jolan likes music, dancing, and flowers.
Valentin Johann is a 6-year-old boy from Ulm, Germany. He has blond hair and blue eyes. His parents have moved to Boston a while ago - until child service agents found out they were abusing him. He is a happy child and likes swimming and drawing.
All children know at least some English.
