Denise Barbara makes me think of 60's. Normally names like these are considered even more unattractive than Victorian names that are coming in fashion, again. If you want to be uncool, name your daughter Karen or Deborah. At the same time that's the most clever choise for today. I'm sure Denise will be the only one in her school.

Yes it's interesting. Denise is a fine name, nothing to complain about there. Barbara doesn't seem to match it at all though. Kind of clunky together.

I'm a big fan of Barbara (pronounced the Slavic way), since I plan to name a daughter that to hoinor my grandmother. Denise isn't my fave name but nothing wrong with it either. The combo's a bit boring and Barbara Denise would have been better, imo.

Unfortunately, I greatly dislike it. :\ It's definitely great compared to the Aidens and Blaydens and Ohleevias and whatnot, but it sounds really dated to me.

I like Denise a lot, and it's nice to see it in use. Barabara doesn't do anything for me though and the combo doesn't really flow all that well. At least it isn't trendy though.

Both names are nms (and I knew an obnoxious/b****y girl in high school named Denise which has put me off that name), but I would MUCH rather see a Denise Barbara than another Nevaeh/Maddisyn/McBlankity/etc, and I don't think there's anything wrong with either name.

Sounds very much like the name of a middle-aged woman, but it's not bad. It's refreshing to see amongst the hoards of Madisyns and Alivias. Can't say I'm particularly fond of either name myself though.
