ETA: overheard a mo mcall a cute little blonde girl Ashlyn (not sure of spelling) at Target. My dad thought it was a cute name, as did I but I'd never use it. I think it's nice for either gender.

I thought it would stop with Nicholas Cage's kid. I understand where the dads are coming from. As 10 year-olds this was the coolest name they could think of, but what are the mom's thinking? In my opinion hyphens are supposed to join two names like Anna-Sophia etc., not two syllables. Or maybe I'm crazy? :)
