One night at dinner, Ashley announced to his parents that he was gay. Helena already knew, she and Ashley have always been close and shared many secrets.
Rachana and Alex weren't the least bit upset with him, and in fact were pleased that he felt comfortable enough to tell them.
However, Parisa was horribly confused and spent most of that dinner asking "What's gay?!" until someone explained to her.
Alex and Rachana have Ashley, Helena, Brigitte, Ari, Orion, Sophia, and Parisa.
