I don't really find William boring. It is common, but it has a rich history. I don't find Victoria cold at all. Like William, it is a nice classic. I see it as regal, but not snobbish.

I love William and don't find it boring at all. It is a very classic and very handsome. It's one of my favorites. Victoria is absolutely beautiful. I think it is an elegant, lovely name and not snobbish, cold, or snooty in the least. My grandmother's name is Victoria, and for me, the name holds the same qualities as my grandmother, strong and intelligent, but also very warm.

I think William is lovely. I used to find it boring, but now I think it is understated, simple and classic.Victoria is okay, but nms, and unfortunately I do have the association you described above for some reason. I also dislike the nicknames, most of which seem tacky.

I think William is lovely. It's a good, classic name.Victoria is ok. I don't mind the name itself, I just dislike all the nicknames for it.

William has no appeal to me whatsoever. I highly dislike Liam but don't mind the nn Will.Victoria isn't snobbish to me. I think it's very pretty. All the Victorias I know either go by Victoria, Vicky/Vicki/Vikki, or Ria.

William - it is boring. It's #1 here in Sweden and I think it is very plain and overused. I wouldn't say I dislike the name but rather that I'm very uninterested in it.Victoria - a bit snobbish yes, but then our crown princess is named Victoria and I think that influences me. On the other hand, I went to school with a Victoria (Vicki) and she was a nice girl.In general I think Victoria is common enough for it not to be stereotyped as a name of a cold and snobbish girl .

I think William is a perfectly respectable name, and I prefer Will as a nickname. Victoria DOES sound a bit snobby to me, but it's not that bad. Vicky and Tori are cute.

I'm kind of neutral on William. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I do find it kind of boring but it's still a good name.I absolutely love Victoria, it's one of my favourites. I don't think it's snooty or snobbish at all. I've never even heard this argument before.

William isn't boring! I used classify it as a solid, but uninteresting name, but now I see it's charm. :) I really love it! Victoria does seem a little cold and snobby to me, but that's because the only Victoria I know happens to fit the stereotype. If she had a different personality, I might view this name differently.

I love William. Like Murasaki said, I think it's timeless and very handsome. I think it's very masculine, but soft at the same time. I don't know if I'll ever completely get over not being able to name my son William. That's what I get for marrying someone whose brother is named William. :\I think Victoria is pretty. I kind of agree with Murasaki on this one too. I wouldn't call it snobbish, but a little preppy. I think it's also quite classic, and I like the pretty shade of purple it is to me. But most girl's V names are.

William is timeless for me, and quite a handsome name. So it doesn't feel boring though it might to with a bit of rest in English-speaking countries.I rather like Victoria, though it's not really my style. But it's fine on someone else's child. I don't find it snobbish, my idea of a snobbish name is something like Hildegarde, though I can see how it could feel a bit preppy.
