Sorry about that - Micah and Ivy thought long and hard about the name of their first son before deciding to honour several people. They picked Gabriel for Micah's twin brother who passed away when the twins were only seven and George for Ivy's father who had died recently. Noah had always been a favourite of Ivy's and Micah really liked the quirkiness of the name.

We just welcomed our son, who we was going to name Gabriel Rhys but when we saw him we just knew that he wasen't a Gabriel, he was a Zachariah! We had taled about the name before. We liked it because it was biblical and he could choose to go by his fullname or a nickname. For the middlename we decided to keep Gabriel since it was the name we hade chosen for him at first.

As for the baby's middle name, it was a toss-up between Galen and Gabriel for a while, but in the end the couple decided they didn't want the whole name to be too biblical and so opted for Galen.

Isaac Gaius
Isaac is a traditional family name on the father's side. Every boy on the father's side has the name Isaac somewhere. Gaius was a common Roman name, 2 of Rome's most famous emperors had the name. Issac's mom decided if she HAD to use Isaac, then she [being an Ancient Rome major in college] would choose a Roman name she felt was suitable.
And that could possibly make her mother-in-law mad.
We'll call him Isaac though.

At first, Mamma and Dad thought Dani will be a girl, and when he turned out to be a boy, they quickly chose this name.
Fun fact: Dani is my cousin who was named with the same reason :-)
