I love it, but I don't care much for the meaning having to do with the number 8. I prefer names that mean something as well as sounding nice... insinuating the name is given because the child is the 8th born bugs me a little.
Then again, I have it on my list.
I don't particularly think it is a replacement for Olivia, though. I also may be one of the few here that doesn't hate the name Olivia. I have a little niece with that name, and she is darling. I know the bare reference to olives is a bit boring, too, but from Athena to Noah's Ark, olive trees have always been associated with peace. I like that.
