Shelby's really popular right now, but I always thought it was more suitable for an old woman or a turtle. I like it, though.

I love Shelby for a boy, but really dislike it on a girl, it just sounds obnoxious on a girl to me. I think it could work for a tiger though, they should have very strong personalities I would think.

I don't care for Shelby and I don't see it on a female tiger at all, sorry. In my mind, Shelby is a suburban, soccer-playing, gum chewing, mall shopping teenager riding around in an SUV.

A tiger would be more exotic like Zuleika, Nefertari, Surya, Zephirine, Casimira, Khadijah, Severine, Uxia, Demetria, Noor, Amarantha, Zara.

Honestly, I hate this name. It is so ugly to me! I mean nothing about it is attractive. Shelby. "Shel" isn't attractive. "Elb" isn't attractive. "Elby" isn't attractive. "Shelb" is about the ugliest letter combination I've ever heard.

I also don't think it works for a tiger AT ALL. It's an English surname. It didn't even really exist as a first name until the 1930's. A tiger should have something Asian, which would reflect their country of origin. How about:
