[Opinions] How do you pronounce Adeline?
I'm really loving the combo Adeline Rose right now. (Yes, I know Rose is a typical filler MN, but it has family significance for me so I'm not too worried about it.) I pronounce it AD-ah-leen, but everyone else seems to pronounce it AD-ah-line, rhyming with line/mine/shine, not green/bean/mean. Which is the correct pronounciation? How do you pronounce it?Also, do you prefer Scarlett Elizabeth over Adeline Rose?

I'm tornbetween Add-uh-line and Ay-duh-line (without such a hard D sound).
Though the second prn. is more like Adaline. Its one of my favourite names and even though I think its pretty corny I like Adeline and Emmeline as twin names. "Addy and Emmy"
or
Adaline and Emeline as twin names "Ada and Emma"

I've only heard it said -line (in the US). People will adjust their pronunciation, though. It might be mispronounced once or twice, but people learn fast.
Adeline Rose is very sweet and flows better than Scarlett Elizabeth, imo.

Well I don't know how you should pronounce it, but I pronounce it the same way you do, AD-ah-leen.I like them both, but I prefer Adeline Rose.
