[Opinions] WDYTO Gregory
I used to not like this name, but than I started to watch House and now I'm starting to like it. This isn't the first time I've been affected by shows and movies I watch and video games I play. I'm not sure I like this name that much though. What do you think of Gregory?

It's my brother-in-law's name. He's always called Greg. I really hate it. It's one of those names that always makes me think of a food--in this case, egg salad.

I really like it. I have an uncle with the name and he isn't the most... friendly guy I know. However, I am a huge fan of Gregory Peck, so it balances out nicely. :-)

Huge fan of House, however Gregory springs to mind an short, chubby, red-haired boy who used to go to my old elementary school and was constantly taunted by the students. Nice kid, took the others' bullying well, but only went to the school for a few months. I don't think I could every name a child this for the association that I have, but the character from the TV show has definately shone a new light on the name for me.

Lmao, I feel the same way about it!
I didn't see anything special about Gregory, it was just kind of there. After marathons of House every weekend, it's really grown on me.
Still don't like Greg though.

I really wished I liked this name, but I just don't. I know I should, since its such a strong, classic name and I know some really great guys (and an adorable baby!) named Greg or Gregory, but I'm just not a fan of the way it sounds. I think I have issues with the "g" sound, and this name has two of them!

love itI think Gregory is quite handsome, also I have only known four Gregorys in my life, three of whom went by Greg, one who went by Gregory. Conjures up images of Pope St. Gregory the Great for me, so all positives.

Really like it.It's a good name. It's not particularly trendy and it's not extremely common. It's a name that will serve someone well in the working world, yet is still rather playful and fun. Plus, it's not contain to one certain generation. Don't like nn Greg so much. Gregory is so much better.

I like it.It brings to mind a very sturdy, good natured kind of guy. I never used to like it either (I have a pain in the ass cousin named Greg), but it's been growing on me over the months. Still don't much like the nn Greg.I think of House too, but that's not the [main] reason I like it.
