er... Not pretty in my opinion, but it is in yours, so if you like it, use it!

I never thought it could be used for a girl, my friend had a son the other day and named him Phoenix Tyler, its ok I guess. :)

My sons name is Phoenix Matthew... I love the name.. and I haven't heard of very many Phoenix's!!!

I prefer Phoenix on a boy, but that name is pretty! I had Phoenix Hazel down for a girl before, but later got rid of it. I love Phoenixes!

I think it's really cool, and I like it for a girl's name too. I'm sort of into mythological creatures. And yes, it is unusual, but some people have unusual names and are proud of them. My neighbor has a cat named Pheonix, but they call it Nixy.

I think I do like it better for a girl than a boy but it's still not my style really, sorry! :)
It does make me think of something from Jane Austen that I was reading the other day:

I think Pheonix is a great name, the mythological connections are great. It doesn't sound too out there to me, and it goes well on either gender. Pheonix Gabriella is nice, what about Pheonix Isadora?

Phoenix is the mythical creature to me - I may use the name in a fantasy story, but not on a real life child. And even so, I don't think it's feminine enough for a girl, sorry.

I don't care for it, and especially not for a girl. But I've definitely seen worse, lol. :) BTW, I recently met a woman in her 30s named Phoenix. I thought that was oddly interesting. BTW, if it's used for a girl, a very feminine mn is definitely a good idea imo. Phoenix Gabriella isn't bad. :b
