I really like Sandra. It is dated, but my German exchange partner's name is Sandra and she is 17, so that made me view it differently :)Sandra is a good nn for Alexandra and/or Alessandra, but I prefer it as a name by itself.

Sandrayes, it was a popular name in Germany in the 80s and 90s but now it has fallen completely out of favour. maybe that's why i can't stand it, it seems soooo dated you can't imagine :p

Hehe, that's interesting. I didn't realise that it's not at all popular there anymore!It's dated here in the UK too, most Sandras I know are friends of my mother :P born in the 50s and 60s.
