Gaia just doesn't appeal to me, I find the sound icky. Amazing what one letter difference can mean. I got really sick of Maia/Maya when I was in Canada last year- I kid you not, every second baby we met out and about in Vancouver was named
Maia. But since being back in Aus I haven't met one, so I've had a break from it and I like it again. Not as much as kaia though.
