[Opinions] Did a database search, on a Danish Statistic Name database, on my fave combo's names.
And found out something interesting, about the number of people, given the names. I ended up pleasently surprised, so I wanted to share it with you. I'll give you the combos first, the the number of people named it here, seperated by a /, between each number just right under it.My 2 fave girl combos:
Nikita Amelia Ambrosia
# 462 / 92 / 5
Galina Teresa Catalina
# 101 / 508 / 47My 2 fave boy combos:
Elliott Bastian Horatio
# 21 / 723 / 0
Kieran Josiah Valentin
# 21 / 5 / 100Some of the numbers surprised me a lot. Names like Amelia, Teresa, Bastian and Kieran. Maybe also Valentin. Names I thought were a lot more used here in Denmark, but apparently not. I wasn't suprised about all the rest, since I had a feeling about those. I'm easpecially happy about the names Ambrosia, Horatio and Josiah. But I am doing the happy dance, since I was thriving for the more unusual names (I like those names), than the ever boring top 10 names (I constantly hear when out), for Danish standards. And unusual names I certainly found.Just wanted to share my joy.*Continues doing the happy dance*

ha!my name is Nikida! My mom thought that Nikita was ugly looking so she changed the spelling. Sine our last name is very popular here she wanted to use a very different first name to stand me out from the others. I'm so glad she did though.A boy I know who is from Russia told me that my name wasn't real. He hated it that my spelling was changed and that it was on a girl.

Are no boys named Nikita?Nikita is a Russian BOY's name. If I would name a child Nikita, it would be a boy. When did Nikita start getting popular for girls in the west, was it after Elton John's song?I like Valentin too, but as a fn, not hidden as a 3rd name."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

More girls are named Nikita here...Than Boys. I read somewhere that Nikita, is used more and more as a girls name, here in Europe at a steady rate. I don't know how and when it became so popular here. If it was after the Elton John song, I don't know, but it was hearing that sone I fell for it. Lol! But that's how it is.Anyway, I feel mostly by the sound of it, that it's more of a girls name. I know someone, who's friends daughter is named Nikita.

Umm...I suppose you should find a link to some Dutch database, if you want to know about popularity. Do a Google search for name popularity in Holland. You would be badly off with a Danish link I would imagine.
