Hey every one! You all did so well on the first Nickname Trivia that I've been enbolden to try it again!

But first here are the answers for the last Nickname Trivia:

Alot of these come from sound associations:
1. Nancy - usually for Anne (like Nan & Nannie)
2. Betsey - Elizabeth (like Beth & Betty)
3. Kitty - Catherine/Katherine (like Katie)
4. Lottie - Charlotte (see the ending Lotte)
5. Polly - from Mary and it's nickname Molly (but it can be uses for Paulina too!)
6. Nelly - I was thinking of Eleanor (like Ellie, Nellie, Nell)
7. Dolly - I was thingking of Dorothy & Dorothea but it could be used for Dolores but that's Spanish and Dolly isn't!
8. Sally - from Sarah (I have no idea where this came from but there it is!)
9. Sukey - Susan (or Susanna - Susie - Sukie)
10. Meg - remember 'Little Women' ? Margaret (Maggie, Mag, Meg, Peg!)

These nicknames always make me think of the nursrey rhyme 'Polly put the kettle on'! The second verse of that goes: 'Sukey take it off again'!
