Sara Sofia and Bill had been dating for 2 years when Sara discovered she was pregnant. It was a big blow to them both, as Sara was just a couple of months away from finishing high school and Bill's band was just starting to get their first real gigs. Still, they stuck together and were thrilled with the birth of their daughter, Kat. Two months before Kat's birth, Bill's band, after a concert at local bar, got an invitation for a meeting with a famous label. They were offered a record deal! Kat was three months old when their first single was released. It was a success, and soon the band, but Bill especially, as the lead singer, started getting recognized on the street. Sara Sofia couldn't be happier for him, it's always been his dream. But as soon as the media discovered that Bill Kahler and his 17 year old girlfriend had a baby, the story got out everywhere. As much as Bill tries to protect his family from the exposure, they can't help but to feel the pressure: to get married, from girl fans who hate Sara, because of their age and punkish looks... But at a recent interview, when he was asked about how he felt about how the media were exploring the story, he just answered he didn't care - the only things that mattered to him were his family and his band, in that order. They hope, for Katy's sake, that people will drop it off.
