My mom told me about a set of twins she saw today named Leo and Leonard. What made it really confusing is that they are both patients at the hospital she works at and at first she thought they were the same person.

I think Leo is okay, but I dislike Leonard. But more importantly, the two names are too much alike to be names for brothers, even (or especially) for twins. Why do people do this? It drives me nuts. Reminds me of Jacaais and Jakavius.

Leo and Leonard are a little too close for twins, especially since Leo could be a nickname for Leonard.

Oh, wow, that would be confusing. I'd probably get confused like that myself because I'd be tempted to think Leo was short for Leonard.
