Catherine's mother Amélie's birthday was coming, so the whole family decided to pay Cath's parents a visit. As they didn't have anyone to leave Alba with, and she actually behaves in the car, they took her aswell. Of course her carrier has to go in Bobby's lap - the car is too crouded as is! The kids always love to go to their grandparents' house, because they get to play in their huge backyard. They were all outside when suddenly the six of them came runing in - Mikey held by Emilie. Lola shouted, "Mommy, look!" And she put a black kitten in her lap. Apparently, the neighbours' cat had had kittens and they were trying to give them away. The six of them looked expectantly at their parents and asked, "Can we keep him, please?" The little cat was so cute that Cath couldn't say no. This time, it was a little bit harder to convince Frank, but after a while he caved in - as long as he could choose the name. He read somewhere that Nigel meant "black" - and Nigel seemed like an especially goofy name for a cat, so Nigel it was.
