After loosing his wife to cancer, Claire’s father was no longer able to keep his house. He was also very opposed to the idea of living in a nursing or senior living home since he is a very active and healthy man. So he moved in with Claire and Henry to help them care for the seven five-year-olds who are just starting kindergarten and need more homework/project help, and rides, than before. Ecspecially George who is struggling with his Palsy.
