Taking care of all the children is far from being easy, so Kay and even Hunter were happy when Kay's mother Alice said she was moving to the town they were living in so she could spend more time with her grandchildren. However, she didn't just move to their town she also ended up moving into their house. Sure Kay could have told her mother that she needed to get an apartment instead of living with them, but she has always had problems saying no to her mother because her mother is the master at guilt trips.
Now that Grandma lives in the house she treats Kay and Hunter like they are children and often times Kay and Hunter wish she would just leave, although they do admit that it is nice having someone else who watches the children. The children love that Grandma Alice is here. Although, the adults don't like Alice much, the children absoultly adore her escially Dara who loves hearing her stories about when she was a child
