Emerald is quite sweet for a little girl and I could see it on an adult too. I do prefer it for a mn to a fn though. Emerald Beatrix is cute.

I like it in theory I guess. Emmy would be a cute nickname for it. Emerald Joy is lovely.

I dislike Emerald. It's along the same lines as Diamond, Crystal or Amber, sort of cheap and a bit trashy.

I like the name Emerald. It is much prettier and less common than Crystal. It also reminds me the city I was born in since it is called the Emerald city.
