Jaye moved in not too long ago, and she's settling in rather well. She moved into the bedroom Zakiah and Parisa share, so the three of them are quickly becoming friends. Jaye and Tirzah are also bonding because of their closeness in age, and Jaye is often very willing to watch Jude for Tirzah.
As we've done with all of our adoptions, we asked Jaye if she wanted to change her name at all. She told us she was tired of correcting people with her middle name, and we changed the spelling to Amelia.
She is seeing a therapist as she wanted, and seems to be doing better. She often spends hours locked in the office writing.
